It was 7am on the first day of lunar new year and I was on my way to changi in green. That killed my mood for any celebrations. But luckily I got to sneak off at 9pm to catch some performances with my family at Gardens by The Bay. And my visiting officially starts on tuesday.
CNY was, on the whole a much better festive season compared to last year. My parents, for the first time gave angbaos that value up to hundreds. We spent the night of eve in chinatown and last night in marina bay. Ended up watching performances by a local jazz band which was really good. Kudos to the female vox! Super high. My dad enjoyed it thoroughly.
Woke up early this morning and went zh's house for steamboat. Lots of unhealthy but delicious food and even pig's brain! It was damn gross but I still ate it lol. Met sh in the afternoon and we caught 72 tenants of prosperity, but in the front row. I was really trying to keep myself awake at the front part of the show cause I was just too sleepy. Then we went to walk around the bay, to raffles place, and off to homee. Overall, cny this year was a generally happy one.
And sometimes I emo. Over something, or over nothing. I don't even know what I'm upset about. Its just that huge wave of grim that suddenly surrounds me like devouring dementors, waiting to begin on its meal. A while later its gone. And back again. My friend said I should never make psychology my career, cause my e. stability varies a lil too much.
